Happy International Day of Women and GIRLS in Science

Yewah and Marian are the faces of science, technology, math and engineering in Ghana. 

These junior high students were selected to attend the VisiolaSTEMCamp last month. They’ve never coded before.

Here they are teaching the rest of their Exploratory club members to program a hide and seek game in Scratch. This type of peer learning and teaching reinforce girl’s confidence.
