Role model visits: Harry Akligoh, medical lab science and Dr. Tom Tagoe, neuroscientist
We are super lucky to have two members of the Ghana STEM network share their science journeys and some practical activities with our clubs in Berekuso basic school.
(Top) The energetic Harry Akligoh, founder of the Practical Science Initiative in Ho, and a medical laboratory scientist, showed our members how to use a compound microscope after discussing the various types.
Dr. Thomas Tagoe, a neuroscientist, and founder of the science communication platform @ghscientific, involved the kids in an experiment to measure the speed of their reaction time. Thanks!!
